2014/07/13 00:00 (Sunday) - 2014/07/13 06:00 (Sunday) - Maintenance of of HKU IP Phone System (Phone Numbers 3917-xxxx)

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance of the HKU IP Phone system during the following period-

Date: 13 July 2014 (Sunday)
Time: Midnight to 6am

During the above period, the phone service for numbers starting with 3917 will have intermittent interruptions for several times, each lasts for about 2 minutes.

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance of the server supporting HKU Portal login service during the following period:

Date: 29 June 2014 (Sunday)
Time: 6:00 am - 8:30 am

Services to be affected: All HKU Portal services including SIS, HCMS, email and Moodle; and services requiring HKU Portal login to authenticate

During the above period, access to the affected services will be suspended and users are advised not to access HKU Portal.

Time: 6 am - noon
Services to be affected: All HKU Portal applications including those under SIS and HCMS

Please note that there will be an emergency maintenance of the IP phone system (phone numbers 391-xxxxx) during the following period:

Date: 1 June 2014 (Sunday)
Time: 0:00am to 8:00am
Services to be affected: All IP phones with telephone numbers 391-xxxxx

During the maintenance, all Cisco IP phones (with telephone numbers 391-xxxxx) will be interrupted several times, each about 1 minute. During the interruptions, ongoing calls are not affected while users are unable to make or receive new calls.

2014/05/11 06:00 (Sunday) - 2014/05/11 23:00 (Sunday) - Human Capital Management System (HCMS) - Maintenance Window

Dear colleagues,

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance on the Human Capital Management System (HCMS) during the following period:

Date: 11 May 2014 (Sunday)
Time: 6am - 11pm

During the above period, all functions of the HCMS under Self Service (e.g. Leave Application, Pay-slip), Manager Self Service (e.g. Leave Approval, e-PFile) and for administrative roles (e.g. FCSC, Recruiting and Workforce Administration) in the HKU Portal will be suspended. These functions will be resumed once the maintenance work is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

A scheduled maintenance on the system supporting Extranet (https://extranet.hku.hk) and non-SIS student applications (https://sweb.hku.hk/) during the following period:

Date: 2014/05/11 (Sunday)
Time: 6:00am - 7:00am
Affected applications: TPG/RPG online applications, student applications under my page of HKU Portal and password reset application on https://extranet.hku.hk/.

Each of the affected services will be suspended for less than 30 minutes. Users are advised not to access these services during this maintenance period.

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance of the www4.hku.hk, intraweb.hku.hk, www.hkusu.hku.hk, www.its.hku.hk web servers during the following period:

Time: 3:30pm - 5:00pm

During the above period, the access to www4.hku.hk, www.maps.hku.hk, www.see.hku.hk, centcampus.hku.hk, and intraweb.hku.hk, www.siri.hku.hk, www.ziri.hku.hk, www.hkusu.hku.hk may be suspended for approximately 15 to 30 minutes
