Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance work on HKU Portal as follows:

Date: September 30, 2013 (Monday)

Time: 11pm to 1am of the next day

The services on the HKU Portal for staff will be suspended.

If you encounter any problem relating to HKU Portal services after the maintenance, please call our Help Desk at 2859 2480 during office hours or our Computer Room at 2859-2496 after office hours, or send an email to ithelp@hku.hk.

2013/09/24 06:00 (Tuesday) - 2013/09/24 08:00 (Tuesday) - Upgrade of HKU Webmail System

Please note that there will be a scheduled upgrade of HKU webmail system as follows:

Date: September 24, 2013
Time: 6 am - 8 am

There will be a service interruption of about 30 minutes and users are advised not to access their emails via the webmail system or HKU Portal during the upgrade.

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance of the HKU Event Management System (HKUEMS) as follows:

Date: September 23, 2013 (Monday)

Time: From midnight to 1:00 am

Access to HKUEMS will be temporarily suspended during the 1-hour maintenance period.

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance on the load balancer supporting the HKU Portal, Human Capital Management System (HCMS) and Student Information System (SIS) as follows:

Date: 14 September 2013 (Saturday)
Time: 3pm - 4:30pm
Affected Services: HKU Portal, HCMS and SIS

During the above period, there may be short service interruptions to the affected services. Users are advised not to use the affected services if possible. In case you encounter any problem after the maintenance, please report to our Computer Room at 2859-2496 during non-office hours.

Please notes that there will be a scheduled maintenance for the uPrint Service as follows:

Date: August 10, 2013 (Saturday)
Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm

During the above maintenance period, there will be 5 to 10 minutes interruption on the printing service and purchase of printing units in the Chi Wah Learning Commons and Run Run Shaw PC laboratories.

In case you encounter problem in accessing the printing service and purchase of printing units, please retry after 10 minutes. In case the problem persists, please report to our staff on duty at the location.

2013/07/07 22:00 (Sunday) - 2013/07/07 23:59 (Sunday) - Human Capital Management System (HCMS) Maintenance Window

To: All Staff Members

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance on the Human Capital Management System (HCMS) during the following period:

Date: July 7, 2013 (Sunday)
Time: 10:00pm – 11:59pm

During the above period, all functions of the HCMS under Self Service (e.g. Leave Application, Pay-slip), Manager Self Service (e.g. Leave Approval, e-PFile) and for administrative roles (e.g. FCSC, Recruiting and Workforce Administration) in the HKU Portal will be suspended. These functions will be resumed once the maintenance work is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
