Maintenance Notice

2013/07/07 22:00 (Sunday) - 2013/07/07 23:59 (Sunday) - Human Capital Management System (HCMS) Maintenance Window

To: All Staff Members

Please note that there will be a scheduled maintenance on the Human Capital Management System (HCMS) during the following period:

Date: July 7, 2013 (Sunday)
Time: 10:00pm – 11:59pm

During the above period, all functions of the HCMS under Self Service (e.g. Leave Application, Pay-slip), Manager Self Service (e.g. Leave Approval, e-PFile) and for administrative roles (e.g. FCSC, Recruiting and Workforce Administration) in the HKU Portal will be suspended. These functions will be resumed once the maintenance work is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

2013/07/01 07:00 (Monday) - 2013/07/01 13:00 (Monday) - Maintenance of the HKU Central Email Service for Staff (HKUCC1)

Information Technology Services (ITS) will carry out a scheduled maintenance for the HKU Central Email Service for Staff (HKUCC1) as follows:

Date: July 1, 2013 (Monday)
Time: 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

During the above maintenance period, access to HKUCC1 email services, including via the My Email tab of HKU Portal, will be suspended. Colleagues are advised not to access their HKUCC1 email accounts during the period.

Please note that there will be a scheduled upgrade maintenance on www.hkusu.hku.hk will be suspended during the following time period:

Date : June 12, 2013 (Wednesday)

Time : 09:00 - 13:00

Affected services: all student societies websites

During the above period, access to all student societies websites will be suspended. For enquiry about the maintenance, please contact ithelp@hku.hk or our helpdesk (Tel: 2859 2480) during office hours and our computer room (Tel: 2859 2496) after office hours.

Please be informed that the Research & Conference Grants Administration System (RCGAS) will be suspended during the following time period:-

Time : 08:00 - 16:30
