We are pleased to announce that our new Active Learning Classroom in CPD-2.25 on 2/F Chi Wah Learning Commons is now in its soft opening for conducting ITS training.  This Classroom will later be extended for booking by departments.

The new Active Learning Classroom is an enhanced version of the current Blended Learning Laboratory in CPD-3.41, equipping with the latest technologies such as voice lift to enable groups having discussion without handheld mic.  Tables there are arranged in the groups of 4 to 6 people, and each is equipped with a display panel to facilitate discussion with digital aids via cable or wirelessly.  Each table also comes with a communal VPC to feature the computer lab mode. To encourage more interaction among the speaker and audiences both inside and outside the room, a highly intelligent tracking camera is readily available for use without prior setup or configuration.
