Starting today, students can purchase additional AI credits through the HKU GenAI Student Top-up Pack for use in the HKU GenAI App and APIs available via the HKU ITS API Developer Portal.
The top-up pack is intended for students who require additional AI credits beyond their free quota for academic, research, or development purposes. The top-up pack can be purchased here. Sign-in is required using the Profile icon in the top right corner.
Purchased credits will normally be available within one hour after payment. Students may view their remaining AI credit balance in the HKU GenAI App. The free monthly AI credits allocated to students will be consumed before any purchased top-up AI credits are used. Please note that unused top-up credits will be carried forward to the next month, until the student leaves the University.
