Join us at ITS Induction Week 2026, a student-focused event designed to introduce undergraduate students to the essential digital services, AI tools, and support resources available at HKU.

Throughout the week, students can explore a range of services and resources through interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities, and face-to-face consultations with ITS staff and support teams.

Visit the AI Discovery @ HKU zone to explore the University’s growing AI ecosystem and discover how AI-powered services can support your learning and daily university life.

Drop by our Pop-up Helpdesk & Engagement to speak with ITS staff and obtain support on a variety of IT-related enquiries.

Students can also:

Terms and Conditions

  1. The campaign is open to eligible HKU students and staff only.
  2. Participants must follow the HKU ITS Instagram account and complete the required campaign activities (e.g. like, comment, and share the designated campaign post) during the campaign period from 7 September 2026 to 11 September 2026.
  3. Each eligible participant may participate in the lucky draw and redeem a gift once only during the campaign period.
  4. Participants must present a valid HKU Student/Staff ID and proof of completed campaign activities for verification. Participants with private Instagram accounts may be required to provide additional proof of participation.
  5. HKU ITS reserves the right to verify participant eligibility and participation records and to refuse participation or gift redemption where eligibility cannot be verified.
  6. Duplicate, fraudulent, incomplete, or repeated participation and gift redemption attempts will not be accepted.
  7. Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last, are randomly assigned, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, refunded, or redeemed for cash.
  8. HKU ITS is not responsible for the quality, functionality, fitness for purpose, safety, or any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from the use of any gift.
  9. Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional, reporting, and communication purposes by HKU ITS.
  10. HKU Student/Staff IDs collected for the lucky draw will be used solely for participant verification and prevention of duplicate participation. The information will be kept confidential and securely deleted within 7 days after the campaign ends.
  11. HKU ITS reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone, cancel, or disqualify any participant from the campaign where necessary.
  12. In the event of any dispute, HKU ITS reserves the right of final decision.
