Information Technology Services (ITS) will gradually migrate the Virtual Desktop PC (VPC) service to a new Sangfor aDesk platform starting from in December 2026. Further details about the migration schedule and any required user actions will be announced closer to the transition date.
With effect from 1 November 2026, ITS will no longer provide the thin-clientVPC Box devices for new VPC applications as VPC services transition to the Sangfor aDesk platform.
A limited number of thin-clientVPC Box devices are currently available. Requests will be fulfilled only while stocks last. Once the stock is exhausted, ITS will provide eligible users with a VPC profile only.
Users receiving a VPC profile will need to install the VPC client on their own desktop or laptop computer to access the service.
