Internet Firewall Firmware Upgrade on 23 February 2025

We would like to inform you of a scheduled internet firewall upgrade on 23 February from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. During this period, several critical services will be unavailable, including but not limited to:

• HKU Portal
• HKU Websites
• HKU Application

Additionally, there will be no internet service available to all devices connecting through the HKU Campus network, which includes:

• Campus
• All Halls
• Senior Staff Quarters

The following WiFi connections will also be affected:

• “HKU”
