To enhance the security of our student’s Portal, we will be implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all students accessing the HKU Portal from outside the campus network. This includes connections made via Wi-Fi.HK via HKU, home Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and other external networks.
Starting from 6 March 2025, all students will be required to use MFA when logging into the HKU Portal from any off-campus network. This additional layer of security is designed to protect your personal information and the university’s data.
