Audio Visual (AV) Equipment

- Public Address (PA) System – amplifies sound to reach a larger audience, ideal for public speaking, announcements, and events. We offer different models for borrowing: Portable speaker with clip microphone or handheld microphone(s), and a larger speaker(s) with handheld mic.
- Wired/ Wireless Microphone – versatile microphones for clear audio capture, suitable for various settings including conferences, performances, and presentations.
- Microphone Stand – provides stable support for microphones, adjustable height for optimal positioning during use. We offer both floor stands and table stands.
- Wireless Presenter – handheld device for controlling presentations remotely, includes features like slide navigation and laser pointer.
- DVD Player/ Portable DVD-ROM – plays DVDs for video presentations, with HDMI input for versatile connectivity. Portable option for easy transport and setup.
- Video Camcorder – records high-quality video, useful for documenting events, creating content.
- Multimedia LCD Projector – projects images and videos onto a screen, enhancing visual presentations for larger audiences.
- Portable Screen – easy to set up, provides a surface for projecting images and videos during presentations.
- Visualizer – captures and displays documents, images, and objects in real-time, useful for detailed presentations and demonstrations.

Guidelines for Using on Loan Equipment
- Usage
All on loan AV equipment must be utilized on the University campus for academic purposes unless prior approval for alternative use has been obtained. - Eligibility
Students are required to submit booking requests for AV equipment through their respective student societies. - Request Process
To request the borrowing of equipment, please visit the Service Counter located at KK204 in the K.K. Leung Building and complete a physical loan request form. - Loan Duration
The standard loan period is one week. Exceptions may be granted under special circumstances. - Collection and Return
Borrowers are responsible for the collection and return of all on loan equipment. - Care and Liability
All on loan equipment must be handled with care. Borrowers will be held liable for the current value of any lost or damaged equipment, including any necessary replacement and repair costs. - Return Location
All on loan equipment must be returned to the Service Counter, KK204 at K.K. Leung Building by the due date within office hours. - Service Counter Hours
The Service Counter is open from Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.
