Yes, you can now upload files for ChatGPT to analyze. For example, you can request ChatGPT to summarize a text document. Please note that the context for GPT-3.5 is limited to 4,000 tokens (and 8,000 for GPT-4) and as a result, it may not provide analysis or summaries for long texts. Additionally, ChatGPT only analyzes text and not images. Even if you upload an image as a PDF, it will only analyze the text component. This is why uploaded images is not recommended.
