How to disable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) in Windows 10?

  1. Click Windows Start > Control Panel.
  2. Choose Administrative Tools.
  3. Click Services.

  4. Scroll down the services window and look for Internet Connection Sharing.

  5. Right click on the Internet Connection Sharing item, select Properties.

  6. Under General tab, change the “Startup type” to Disabled and select OK.
