Users can purchase printing units using their Octopus cards at any uPrint Add Value Machines (AVM) available in the Chi Wah Learning Commons, Faculty of Medicine (Faculty Learning Commons) and the Libraries.
Video Tutorial on How to purchase printing units for using uPrint service via Add Value Machine (AVM)?
- Tap “Using HKU Student/Staff Card or Library Card” if you have a HKU Student/Staff Card or Library Card. Otherwise, tap “Without HKU Student/Staff Card or Library Card”.
- Present your HKU Student/Staff Card or Library Card, or input your HKU Portal UID/Library card no.
- Tap the arrow icon to proceed purchase OR tap “Cancel“.
- Insert your Octopus Card.
- Tap “Confirm” to proceed the purchase. Otherwise, tap “Cancel“.
- Tap “Exit” and take your Octopus card.
- An electronic receipt will be sent to your registered email account for each completed purchase transaction.
