To align with the important updates of Microsoft’s storage policy for Office 365 that applies globally to all educational institutes.

The default disk quota for various Microsoft 365 services for new HKU users and new HKU sites are adjusted as follows with effective from 1st March 2024.

The disk quota for OneDrive of existing HKU users are adjusted effective from 1st April 2024:

All HKU members are encouraged to review their storage usage to delete unnecessary files and e-mail and keep only necessary data to maintain low disk space consumption on OneDrive and E-mail. HKU members are strongly suggested to migrate large files from OneDrive to another location such as a local drive, a USB drive, or any other self-subscribed personal Cloud Drive, etc., as early as possible.
