We are excited to introduce the “MTR Queuing Condition” feature on the HKU App, which delivers real-time queuing status between the University Street and MTR HKU Station Exit A2. This innovative feature aims to assist staff, students, and visitors in planning their commutes ahead.
The AI cameras installed along University Street send only the number of people they detected in real-time, powered by our own queue detection algorithm developed by ITS. They do not record any videos or identify any faces.
