The Departmental Information Security Coordinator Group is a consortium of colleagues from different departments who are nominated by department heads. The Coordination Group is set up to achieve the following objectives:
1. To promote information security among departments.
2. To foster better information sharing and exchange of experience on good practices and know-how on enhancing information security.
3. To enhance the information security of the University through concerted effort.
The above objectives will be attained through a wide spectrum of activities to be arranged, such as organizing technical seminars and workshops on the latest development of information security, on related technology updates, and other topics that would be of common interest to members of the group. Members of the group will be notified on the schedules of the forthcoming technical seminars/workshops by email. Information Security Newsletters and Presentations, if available, will be posted here for the information of the group members or other University members who may be interested in them.
