Topics outline

The default outline for the HKU Moodle course is Topics outline.

Edit your course in topic outline

1. 1. You can arrange the course materials by topic format. Please click “Turn editing on” to edit your Moodle course.
   2. In each topic, you can click the icon  to update the general information of the topic.
   3. You can also create course materials by clicking “Add an activity or resource”.

Change the outline to Weekly format

The default outline for the HKU Moodle course is Topics outline, however teacher can update the outline format to weekly format.

Steps:

1. 1. Access the Moodle course you want to edit.
   2. Click “Setting“ block which located at the top right-hand corner, select “Settings“.
   3. In the Edit course settings page, under the Course format setting, change the Format to “Weekly format”.
   4. Click the “Save changes” button after you finish setting.
