- Access your Moodle course page. Switch on the “Edit Mode” on the top right.
- Add an activity under a section of your choice.
- Select “Open Forum”.
- Fill out relevant details of the forum.
- Settings of an Open Forum are like adding a normal forum (please see Add a Forum), including subscriptions, post threshold for blocking, ratings, and restrict access.
- The main difference is the ability to choose “Post options”.
- By enabling “anonymous posting”, users will be able to make a reply or post a new topic anonymously, with an optional choice to “reveal” identity.
- An anonymous posting will look like the following.
