Install registry fix
- Download the zip file “setexo_outlook2016.zip” here.
- Right click on the file, select Extract All… in the context menu to unzip the file.
- Double click on setexo_outlook2016.reg. In the Registry Editor dialog, click Yes.
- The keys and values have been successfully added to the registry. Click OK.
- Reboot the computer to apply the registry. Open Outlook to check whether it can login successfully. If problem persists, please create a new Outlook profile as below.
Create a new Outlook profile
- Go to Control Panel, change “View by” to Large Icons. Click “Mail (Microsoft Outlook)”.
- In the “Mail Setup – Outlook” dialog, click “Show Profiles…”
- Click Add…
- In the Profile Name, enter HKU and click OK.
- Enter the Password and Retype Password of your account. Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- In the “When starting Microsoft Outlook, use this profile:”, click “Always use this profile” and select HKU (the new profile created). Click OK.
- Start Outlook again and it should login correctly or reboot if necessary.
